The projectors are harder to repair and generally use more energy than their flat screen counterparts. The primary advantage is that the machines take up less space when they are not in use. A projector often sits on a desktop when not in use. A casual observer may not even notice that a projector serves as a home television. The older projector televisions have a larger screen and take up a much larger area. The older projectors and the newer HD projectors have the same problem. There is a certain distance required for an effective viewing range.
The newer HD bring screen TVs are more full efficient, but they cannot always give a user the viewing experience that he wants to experience. When it comes to the final decision, it will ultimately depend on whether a person prefers watching television in a dark room or if he prefers to watch television with the lights on.
